Most of the traffic coming onto the highway via a highway onramp is going straight for the outer lane. Most traffic seems to prefer the outer lane. There's also huge lines of trucks forming in front of my cargo stations.Įdit2: When i install this mod but (without advanced AI activated) i get huge lines of traffic on my highways. seems like traffic really likes to use my rail network now. So the advanced AI option seems to be causing my train problem. "Įdit: I've been testing some more: The highway problems that start after using the mod disappear very soon after i enable the Advaced AI option.īut after the i activate this option, the problem with the trains is starting, i have 9 trains waiting for one station and it's increasing steadly. In my opinion the mod does change the AI, from the manual: "When enabled, TM:PE modifies the base path-finding algorithm in order to allow for the provided features to work correctly. Currently huge lines on the highway are forming. I'm currently running that save agian, with the mod enabled. I ran this save for 3 months without traffic manager. I have a save file from before i installed traffic manager. TLDR: it's really taxing my cpu, and it's causing traffic problems instead of fixing them. what is causing this, and is there any way to disable this in the mod? There''s 20 trains waiting for one cargo station.Īre the yield sign, lane connector or changing of the lane arrows maybe available in another mod? I have a line of trains spanning 5 tiles long. There are several cargo train station which suddenly have HUGE lines of train waiting for them. Why is this not optional? After installing i got huge traffic jams on the highways, i fixed that by enabling dynamic lane selection, but i think this is taxing my CPU, game feels sluggish after enabling this mod.Īlso, i now have huge cargo train problems, which i really didn't have before enabling this mod. I really like the yield sign, the lane connector and the changing of the lane arrows.īut does this mod also change the AI by default? I think it does. My 180.000 population city ran pretty smoothly, traffic was not really a problem.
